Crust on You
We’re about epic baking and house-made artisanal fare, minus the white tablecloths, but with a banger playlist and a global curiosity. As we slowly emerge from our ISO-bubble, each Friday and Saturday we're smashing out a pop-up bakery including our favourite items - like sourdough, BAKED-guettes, pineapple donuts (TDF) and our almost illegal brownies. Jarad lives in our kitchen, up to his elbows in flour, one croissant at a time, backed up by classical French training and a dogged determination to make simple things epically memorable.
A true Melbournian, Baked’s Head Chef Jarad has worked across the city in a mad variety of establishments from craft breweries to large venues to intimate wine bars to fine dining.
Jarad lets Melbourne’s unique vibe infect the menu in our kitchen, with a mash-up of diverse cultures, eclectic finesse and fine artistry, and with a love of the environment and a focus on the development of genuine partnerships with producers who are connected to nature, our land and sustainable practice.

Everything you see at Baked we handmake with love and fun. Our brownies should be illegal and our sausage rolls are not only worth crossing the street for people Uber here from downtown they're THAT GOOD.
